Eulogy

by Stephen Paden

Go now into those trees that softly
whisper her name
let the wind blow through your soul
let her scent wash over the same
Go now into the breeze that warmly
washes over your face
let the wind blow right through you
an echo of a burning flame
Go now into the love that boldly
states its name
let the western wind so coldly
bolster a once and pallid frame
Go now into a warm eternity
named for you
let the warm glow light a path
as warm glows are ought to do
Go now into her arms that boldly
await your embrace
let the warmth of love wash over
your new and Godly face
I love you, Grandpa.
